Alstom receives an order worth approximately €130 million
from SNCF to supply a further 19 Regiolis regional trains
France, Corporate, Transport 12 Jan 2010 The SNCF (French national railways) has placed an order worth
approximately €130 million* with Alstom Transport for an additional 19
Regiolis regional trains from the Coradia Polyvalent range. This order falls
within the framework of the contract signed on 27 October 2009 with the SNCF
and financed by the French regions. The initial contract consisted of a firm
tranche totalling €800 million for the supply of 100 Coradia Polyvalent
trains.
