GA DE-900-AC ALSTOM Locomotive for ENR

Egyptian National Railways (ENR)
has awarded ALSTOM a firm contract for the supply of 30 shunting
locomotives. The contract represents an important strategic development for
ALSTOM on the Egyptian market.
The GA DE 900 AC series locomotives are designed and manufactured completely in
ALSTOM's factory in Albuixech, Valencia, Spain. These series of
diesel-electric locomotives achieve a high degree of reliability and
availability. Due to the modular design of the equipment and components,
operating and maintenance costs will be significantly reduced.
