ALSTOM signs the Distributed Control System
contract of Nubareya I & II

ALSTOM was awarded the package of the Distributed Control System
"DCS" of Nubareya I & II, 2 x 750 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant.
The EGP 15.5 Mn contract was signed on 03/08/04 in the presence of Minister of
Electricity & Energy, Dr. Hassan Younes, by Eng. Fawzeya ABOU NEIMA, Board
Member for Electricity Production, Transmission & Distribution,
representing the Chairman of Egyptian Electricity Holding Company, Dr. Mohamed
Awad, and by the Chairman of the West Delta Electricity Production Company,
Eng. Refaat EL METWALLY.
The DCS package includes the design, manufacturing, supply and supervision of
installation and tests.
Execution time is ten months. |
