Another contract awarded to
the ALSTOM-led consortium formed by ALSTOM Power Generation AG (Germany),
ALSTOM Egypt for Power & Transport Projects SAE and INITEC Energia S.A.
(Spain) for the supply & installation of a 250 MW Steam Turbine Generator
& Condenser.

The signature of the contract
took place in the presence of H.E. Minister of Electricity & Energy Dr.
Hassan YOUNES, Chairman of the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company
"EEHC", Dr. Mohamed Awad, and of Chairman of Middle Delta Electricity
Production Co., Eng. Refaat EL METWALLY.
ALSTOM/INITEC Consortium was represented by Mr. Abdelhak LALOUANI, (ALSTOM
Country President for Egypt, Jordan, Sudan, Lebanon, Syria & Iraq), Messrs.
Klaus-Peter SCHMIDT (Director of Business Development) and Reinhard
CLOPPENBURGH (Technical Project Manager) for ALSTOM Power Generation AG, and by
Messrs. José Luis DAGO ELORZA (Managing Director), Theo VAN RAVENSTEIN
(International Business Development Manager) Enrique SERRANO, (Director of
Egypt Projects) and Jean-Marc COUTURE (Egypt Branch Manager), for INITEC
Energia.
H.E. Dr. Hassan YOUNES pointed out that Nubareya III 750 MW combined cycle
power plant project is implemented through packages, built in the framework of
the 2007-2012 five-year plan for adding 7800 MW to the installed capacity.
