The ALSTOM-led consortium formed
by ALSTOM Power Generation AG (Germany), ALSTOM Egypt for Power & Transport

Euros contract for the supply and installation of a 250 MW Steam Turbine
Generator & Auxiliaries for El Kureimat III 750 MW Combined Cycle Power
Plant.

contract worth 19 M€ with Cairo Metro Organization for the renovation of
52 units of the Line1 of the Cairo metro.

An Alstom-led consortium has won
a contract worth 80 million euros from the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company
(EEHC) through its affiliate company, Cairo Electricity Production Company
(CEPC), to provide 2 X 350 MW steam turbine generator units and condensers to
an existing gas-fired power plant in southern Cairo, Egypt. Alstom’s share
amounts to 60 million euros. Under the contract, Alstom will also carry out the
erection of the equipment, and provide technical assistance and on-site
training during commissioning, start-up and testing. The unit will run mainly
on natural gas and use fuel oil as back-up.

wins Generator Retrofit Contract in Egypt |

ALSTOM has been awarded a
contract worth around EUR 10 Million for the rewind of four generator stators
at the Abu Qir Power Station in Egypt. The order was placed by the West Delta
Electricity Production Company, a major Egyptian utility. These four 150 MW
units have been in operation for more than 25 years and their ageing windings
have begun to compromise performance. The stators will be completely rewound
increasing the reliability and availability of the units.
