Alstom Power in Egypt:
- Construction activities and services in around 7000 MW of utility Power
Plants.
- 21 Steam turbines for utility ranging from 33 MW up to 325 MW with a total
of 3600 MW.
- 9 Gas Turbine units for utility with total of 300 MW.
- 15 Steam Generator units for utility to service 1575 MW total.
- 55 Industrial Gas Turbines units with a total of 250 MW ranging from 3.5 MW
up to 52 MW.
- 23 Industrial Steam Generator units with a total of 1520 TPH; ranging from
40 TPH up to 120 TPH.
- Alternators (Generators) with 230 MW capacity coupled to non ALSTOM driving
machines.
- More than 20 pumping stations in the fields of electricity and irrigation.
Main projects include:
- Supply on Turnkey basis of Abu Qir Thermal Power Plant (4x150 + 1x300 MW)
- Supply of 2x325 MW Steam Turbines for Sidi Krir Power Plant units 3&4,
the first Independent Power Project IPP in Egypt, with Intergen Bechtel.
- Supply of the Plant Control System and the Heat Exchangers for Suez Gulf
and East Port Said Projects, each 2x325 MW, with EdF.
- Rehabilitation of the High Dam's Instrumentation and Control System for 12
Hydro Turbine units, 175 MW each.
- Rehabilitation of three 33 MW units at Assiut Power Plant with the
upgrading of the plant Instrumentation and Control System.
- Rehabilitation of the Electrical and the Mechanical systems of Aswan 1 7x46
MW Hydro Power Plant.
- Supply and erection of the Mechanical Balance of Plant (BOP) of Kureimat
2x600 MW Power Plant.
- Revamping of El Nasr 1, 2 and 3 pumping stations in Nubareya
- Four Heat Recovery Steam Generators and Distributed Control System for
Nubareya I & II (2x750 MW) Combined Cycle Power Plant
- 1x 250 MW Steam Turbine Generator & Auxiliaries for Cairo North II (3
x 250 MW) CCPP
- 1x250 MW Steam Turbine Generator & Auxilliaries for New Talkha CCPP
